A Tradition of Giving

Breast Cancer Research

In the United States alone, breast cancer affects close to one in eight women. In 2006, breast cancer survivor Lucy Millman was browsing the wine shelves of a local store looking for something special when she spotted our Lucy Rosé. The wine’s rare color spoke to her–as did its name, which she shares. As soon as we learned about Lucy’s fondness for Lucy, we began donating to Millman’s fund for The Susan G. Komen 3-Day®. More than a decade later, we proudly continue to contribute to Lucy’s fund and others—donating $1 of every bottle purchased to breast cancer research.

Supporting Firefighters

We are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us, and we believe that protecting our environment is one of the most critical issues we face today. That’s why we support the efforts of local firefighters in safeguarding the region against the effects of climate change. For every bottle of Gamay Noir sold, one dollar is donated towards local firefighter organizations, which play a critical role in protecting the beautiful land and environment of the Big Sur region.

Ocean Conservancy

The fog and wind that rush through the Santa Lucia Highlands and help create the cool climate of coastal Monterey are influenced by the Pacific Ocean, which plays an essential role in our winemaking efforts as it sustains local communities and the wildlife surrounding them. As farmers and vintners committed to working sustainably, we wish to do as much as we can to ensure this habitat remains a beautiful and thriving one. With Pico Blanco, we begin contributing $1 of every bottle we sell to ocean conservancy, a cause near and dear to our hearts.
